SABINE COUNTY CHAMBER OFFERS $1000 FOR NEW LAKE RECORD BASS
HEMPHILL - The Sabine County Chamber of Commerce recently offered $1000 to any angler that can break the Toledo Bend lake record for Largemouth Bass. The current record weight is is 15.32 pounds. What’s great about this offer is that it will be available 365 days of the year until the record is broken. Toledo Bend Lake is full of big largemouth bass and the to win this award, it does not matter if the fish comes from Texas or Louisiana water, just as long as it is caught on a rod and reel and comes from Toledo Bend Lake.
To qualify, the record breaking bass will need to be weighed on a certified scale. The following sites are designated Certified Scale Locations –
